Croatia Boat Show

The ancient harbour of Split on the Dalmation Coast of Croatia is the perfect setting for this major nautical event. Over 1300 exhibitors will display their latest vessels along with a weath of nautical equipment and luxury cars on the newly refurbished Split waterfront promenade.

Along with over 50,000 visitors each year, the show attracts many of the world’s largest and best-known boat and equipment manufacturers, as well as yachting enthusiasts from Europe and beyond, here to enjoy the ambience of the show and to seek out its buying and sailing opportunities.

The ninth International Croatia Boat Show has confirmed both the trend of growth in the regional nautical industry and its status as the biggest event of its kind in Southeast Europe. This important event has made progress that definitely launched it into a new dimension - to the benefit of all the involved, exhibitors and buyers, the city of Split, the region of Dalmatia and the Republic of Croatia. The success of this event is the result of systematic investment in one of the most charming exhibition spaces in the world. Croatia Boat Show is not only the biggest boat show in the region, but one of the ten biggest of its kind in the world, gathering all the world’s most important leisure boat builders, equipment makers, as well as tourist and nautical service providers, so we are proud to say that the 10th annual Croatia Boat Show will be the greatest nautical event ever held east of Genoa.

The 2007 Croatia Boat Show has made one giant leap toward the sea: over 120.000 sq. meters of in-water exhibition space have confirmed it to be a perfectly organized event with serious business orientation. In the nine days of the show 50.000 visitors, all fans of sea and sailing, came to the beautiful City port to admire the exhibits, and more than 1.300 exhibitors put on display the best they had: 271 vessels at sea, 154 vessels on land, numerous booths with nautical accessories and equipment - and luxury cars. The tenth edition of the show will take place on the newly renovated Split waterfont promenade, in the very heart of the city and by the monumental palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. We believe the tenth edition of the Croatia Boat Show will once again prove how important the event is for the expansion of nautical tourism in the Croatian Adriatic, the newest hot spot of the international nautical and tourist industry.

My family and I spent approx 10 days staying in the Garden Apartments. We found the accommodation good, the position 100% perfect in relation to the Riva and Palace, and Nikola and his family could not have been more helpful and kind to us. We thank them all for a very happy stay in Croatia and hope to be back there again... Click here to view reviews We showed up unbooked and unannounced, and the amazing Nicola not only welcomed us with open arms, maps, recommendations on where to go/eat/walk, he also gave us the best apartment in the Garden complex -and they weren't even open! He is truly a good heart. We had a huge, beautifully furnished, fully equipped, modern apartment in a centuries-old stone house, with a balcony, TV, kitchen, luxurious bathroom, the works for an amazingly reasonable price. We only had a couple of days there and needed to make the most of our time. Nikola met us at our bus, which was such a nice bonus (I have searched for private accomodations in the past and it is never a fun experience in foreign places.) Click here to view reviews
