Stone cottages & apartments & studios & private rooms with garden ( ADRESS ; Solurat 22 in Split , Croatia ) is in the historic Varos area of central Split, a very short walk from the Diocletians Pallace & Riva - Split’s lovely cafe-lined waterfront and the rest of the city’s attractions . Typical Dalmation style accommodation in Split city at the foot of Marjan hill , located 300 meters west of Diocletian’s Palace in Veli Varos and less than 200 meters from the Adriatic sea, the” GARDENS APARTMENTS “ provides an easy respite from central Split ! , 10-15 minutes walking distance from Split’s beaches , 10 minutes walking to the Split’s ACY marina . and 5-10 walking to the ferry, bus, and railway terminals.  A café with a terrace is located less three doors down, offering drinks and a gorgeous seaside view. A grocery store, bakery, laundry mat, Internet station, and juice bar are only a 5-minute walk east.
Please note that car access to most of the historic centre of Split is limited because of its narrow streets.
Regardless of how you arrive, all guests have a short walk ( 2- 5 minutes walking distance ) to reach the accommodation in Split , Croatia !

2 ) DIRECTION BY CAR ( parking is free of charge ) ;
Due to the narrow streets around GARDENS APARTMENTS direct car access is difficult, but there is parking free of charge available within 50m.
It is a legal requirement to keep your car headlights on at all times.

Remember to drive on the RIGHT.

From Split Airport
Turn right out of the airport, following the signs to TROGIR (ignore the signs to Split).
After 1km the road splits, bear right towards the highway (E8) and SPLIT. When you reach the next junction turn right towards SPLIT.
Follow the highway towards SPLIT for about 20km until you pass a large shopping centre called MERCATOR on your left. Shortly afterward you will see a highway exit signed SPLIT ‘CENTAR’. Take the exit and keep following the signs to SPLIT ‘CENTAR’. (Don’t worry the city gets much, much prettier!)
After about 2.5Km you will pass a multi-coloured new development on your right. At the next set of traffic lights (near the Raiffaisen Bank) turn right, signposted ACI MARINA.
Follow this road past the Hayduk football stadium (on your right) and through the tunnel under the Marjan hill.
At the first set of traffic lights after the tunnel continue straight ahead and at the next junction bear left. Follow the road along the water’s edge. You will pass the ACI MARINA (lot of boats) , continue straight ahead to the PETROL STATION “ INA” & HOTEL MAJAN - Your meeting point . ( CALL ME + 385 98 1711730 )

From Dubrovnik
As you get close to Split you will pass signs to an industrial area called TTTS, on your right hand side.
About two kilometres past this you will see an exit to Split ‘Centar’ and the ferry (Trajektna Luka) - DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT.
Instead keep on the freeway until the next exit, again marked SPLIT ‘CENTAR’. You will go under the freeway and then have to bear left.
Continue on this road for 2.5Km (don’t worry the city gets much, much prettier!) until you pass a multi coloured new development on your right. At the next set of traffic lights (near the Raiffaisen Bank) turn right, signposted ACI MARINA.

Proceed around the quay with sea on Your left hand side.
You will reach a wide pedestrian area with palm trees & white paving known as `RIVA`.

Proceed down `RIVA` , and at the end of `RIVA` You will see a church ( SV. FRANE) .
Take the road to the left hand side of the church , `TRUMBIĆEVA OBALA `street.

Proceed a short distance on the right hand pavement on `TRUMBIĆEVA OBALA `street ,until You reach number 10.

You will see a road with a dead end sign .

This is the start of `SOLURAT`street with restoraunt `FIFE` on the left hand side number 10 ` TRUMBIĆEVA OBALA`street on the right hand side .

Proceed up hill until You reach number 22 on the right hand side.
